Who owns clayton marcus furniture

We absolutely love it. We had the style and fabric picked out but decided to go with Lauter's because they beat any of our "local" furniture stores prices by a mile and offered service after the sale. Because we were within their mile delivery radius we're in Dutchess County NY the delivery was free. Clayton Marcus is still constructed in the USA using 8-way hand-tied spring base construction. We had a certain price that we could afford and I had a specific style and measurement in mind, which is why we chose Clayton Marcus.

I think we only had it 5 or 6 years before we replaced it. We have tried to avoid that particular brand ever since. The first sofa we ever bought was a Clayton Marcus which held up well, was recovered, and used in our TV room for about 6 more years. My mother and father owned a Rowe sectional that was used for about 20 years and passed on to my sister for her TV room. Good experiences with both. I have a Lane sofa that is 23 years old. The frame and foam are as firm as the day it was carried in here, but after being used all day everyday for the last nine years by my mother's caregivers, the fabric is worn and discolored.

I still love that sofa but am shopping to replace it. Like you I am researching but would feel comfortable with any of these three brands. I bought a Clayton Marcus sofa 17 years ago and while I have covered it with a white slipcover only because the fabric is outdated it is in amazing condition and is still the favorite place for my now grown sons to plop down when they come home to visit!
